For individuals unable to afford prescribed life-saving medication, we provide limited emergency financial support to ensure they receive critical prescriptions.

How to Apply

Through telephonic intake (Monday–Wednesday). Applicants should provide:

  • Prescription details

  • Pharmacy information

  • Proof of cost

  • Explanation of hardship

Important Note

Funding varies by month and is limited. If we are unable to assist, we provide referrals to partner agencies and prescription assistance programs.

  • This assistance is intended for prescribed medications that are medically necessary to sustain life or prevent severe health complications. Examples may include medications for heart conditions, diabetes, seizures, or other critical diagnoses.

    Each request is reviewed individually to determine eligibility.

  • All requests begin with our intake process.

    Please call 256-963-9355 Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–3 p.m. to speak with our team. We ask that you call before visiting our office so we can properly guide you through the next steps.

  • If your request moves forward, you may be asked to provide:

    • A valid prescription from your physician

    • A cost printout from the pharmacy

    • Photo ID

    • Proof of income

    • Information about insurance or denial of coverage (if applicable)

    Additional documentation may be required depending on your situation.

  • We are not a medical facility and cannot guarantee emergency or same-day assistance. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or seek immediate medical attention.

    We encourage you to contact us as soon as possible if you anticipate difficulty obtaining critical medication.

  • If approved, payment is made directly to the pharmacy. We do not provide cash or reimbursements for medications already purchased.

    If we are unable to assist, we will try to provide referrals to other community resources when possible.
